The Fantastic Four are made up of Mr Fantastic himself, the Invisible Woman, Human Torch and The Thing. The four super heroes gained their superpowers from accidental exposure to cosmic rays during a mission to outer space.

The leader of the group is Mr Fantastic, and quite apart from being a scientific genius, he can stretch and distort his body into a multitude of amazing shapes and lengths. The Human Torch is the Invisible Woman's younger brother, and is multi-talented with his superpowers. Not only can he generate fire and remain unharmed, but he can also fly. The Thing is not related by blood to the Fantastic Four, and despite his odd appearance with his gnarled and impenetrable skin which endures almost anything, he has superhuman strength and a heart of gold, hidden beneath an outwardly grumpy nature.
